The Lounge has a capacity of up to 300 people. It is a large, informal and flexible space available for hire for either licensed events or for room-only use.

Commercial Prices (outside term only):

£180.00 for half a day
£330.00 for a full day
£180.00 for evenings, from 7pm onwards
Charity Prices (outside term only):
£55.00 per hour

£290.00 for a full day

The Lounge, Lower Kingsgate and Kingsgate combined can only be booked outside term time or during trading closure periods in these spaces. Upper Kingsgate may be booked during term time but under the understanding that activity may be taking place in Lower Kingsgate. These room hire prices do not take into account the opening of a bar in which additional costs may be incurred by the organiser.
